Cindy A. Karas has been associated with McTevia & Associates for more than eight years, drawing on her many years of experience in the health care field when working with clients of the firm. A licensed nurse, Karas' skills in health care administration and financial and management consulting support her already outstanding credentials.
Karas provides a variety of services including audits for hospitals and managed care organizations, cost report analysis, claims control and receivable collection, litigation support, practice management and medical equipment acquisition and sales. Additionally, her experience and background enable her to provide hands-on skills in the day-to-day operations of her clients.
A former emergency room and hospital staff nurse, Karas remains a part of the health care community with active involvement in the American Red Cross and the Health Care Financial Management Association. She is also a member of the Women's Economic Club.
